BRCA is the name of two tumor suppressor genes and the proteins they express against hereditary breast cancer:

• BRCA1 (BReast CAncer 1, early-onset) on human chromosome 17
• BRCA2 (BReast CAncer 2, early-onset) on human chromosome 13
