BSAT 4a is a commercial communications satellite owned by the Japanese Broadcasting Satellite System Corporation .

He was born on September 29, 2017 at 21:56 UTC with an Ariane-5 - rocket from the rocket launch site Guiana Space Center along with Intelsat 37e into a geostationary brought orbit.
