BSA A7

The BSA A7 is a motorcycle made by the British manufacturer Birmingham Small Arms Company .

It was sold in several variants from 1946 to 1962 and was BSA's first parallel twin . It belonged to the pre-unit models, i.e. H. The engine and gearbox were housed in separate housings.

The Japanese manufacturer Meguro, from which the motorcycle division of Kawasaki later emerged, brought a replica of the BSA A7 onto the market in 1959 with the K1 model. The design of the 1999 Kawasaki W 650 and its successor Kawasaki W 800 (2011) are based on the BSA A7.
