The BSC Kickers 1900 is a football club from Berlin-Schöneberg . Its colors are green-white-red. The game is played on the Monumentenstrasse sports field. Until 1970 the club played several times in the highest (West) Berlin league and was thus first or second class. In the last few decades, however, the kickers have only played in the lower amateur classes. The first men's team currently plays (as of the 2017/18 season) in the eight-class district league.

history

The association emerged from four associations that had emerged around the turn of the century:

• the Schöneberger FC Borussia 1899
• the Berlin Thor and FC Elf 1900
• the Schöneberger Thor- and FC Sportlust 1904
• the BFC Hubertus 1905

Elf 1900 and Hubertus 1905 merged in 1912 to form the BFC Hubertuself 1900 . Sportlust 1904 and Borussia 1899 merged in 1920 to form BV Sportlust Borussia Schöneberg 1899 .

On November 1, 1923, BFC Hubertuself and Sportlust Borussia finally merged to form Schöneberger FC Kickers 1900 , which was renamed Berlin FC Kickers 1900 in 1927 . From 1945 the association was called SG Schöneberg Nord , and in 1949 it was re-admitted. The club has been called BSC Kickers 1900 since 1951 .

Currently (season: 2019/20) the Kickers 1900 have three men's teams, four youth teams and one women's team. The club's first men's team can be described as the classic Berlin elevator team, as it has been promoted or relegated a total of 14 times since the reunification of local Berlin football (season 91/92).

In 1927, the club achieved a relay victory in the league alongside Hertha BSC (they lost 5: 2 and 4: 1 in the playoffs for the championship title). At the same time he got the authorization to play for the title of German champion .

1987 and 1989 one was in the old league Berlin cup winners .
