BSG Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe

The BSG Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe was a company sports association in East Berlin . The operator was the Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe . The BSG had several sections. Among other things handball and soccer. The greatest success in women's handball was the victory in the FDGB-Pokal , the handball cup of the GDR , in 1973. In 1990 the company sports association was dissolved and the sports association Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe 49 was founded instead .

From 1958 to 1971, Bruno Mätze was chairman of the BSG Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe . He was then honorary chairman of the BSG.
