The BSG Stahl Leegebruch was a company sports community of the sports association Stahl in the village of Leegebruch north of Berlin .
history
The BSG won the GDR championship in rugby union in 1972 . In 1968 and 1970 they had already reached 2nd, 1971, 1973, 1974 and 1976 3rd place in the table. In 1975 the team lost the final for the DRSV cup against SG Dynamo Potsdam in Berlin 23:11 Despite many years as a top team, not a single BSG player was appointed to the GDR's national rugby union team.
