The BSV Buer-Bülse 1926 e. V. is a shooting club in Gelsenkirchen-Scholven . His sport shooting department is represented in the 1st Bundesliga North and 2nd Bundesliga West in the 2016/2017 season.

history

The association was founded on August 23, 1926. Just one year later, the club held its first public shooting festival and a marching band was founded. The effects of the Second World War paralyzed the association's work and made it impossible to continue to exist for years. In 1949 the club was revived and a year later a marching band was set up again. The first post-war shooting festival took place in 1951. In 1979 the club house "Haus Bülse" burned down to the ground. After only a few weeks, a new air pressure shooting range was opened in the basement of the primary school in Bülsestrasse, where shooting is still taking place today. In 2012 the last phase of renovation of the clubhouse ended. Since then, shooters have been able to shoot at 11 fully electronic systems from Meyton. In 1992 the 1st air rifle team rose to the Bundesliga. A remarkable 4th place went to the team at the end of the season. The BSV experienced its most successful period so far between 2001/2002 and 2005/2006: in addition to three championship titles, two runner-up championships were celebrated. After a weak season in 2012, the first team was relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga West. In the 2014/2015 season they managed to get promoted again and were able to secure relegation in the 1st Bundesliga on the last day of competition the following season .
