history
The Berlin Thor and Football Club Helvetia was founded on June 5, 1898. Like many other Berlin football clubs during this time, he played his games on the Tempelhofer Feld . In the 1902 season he belonged to the top division of the VBB , but rose immediately back to the lower class football. From 1906 the traces of the association are lost.
The part of the name Thorball referred to what was then called the sport of cricket , which was practiced alongside football.
