Bačko Gradište ( Serbian - Cyrillic Бачко Градиште , Hungarian Bácsföldvár ) is a village in Serbia . Administratively it belongs to Opština Bečej in the Južna Bačka district and lies on the Tisa , the largest tributary of the Danube . At the last population census in 2002 the population was 5,445. Hungarians (45.49%), Serbs (43.44%) and citizens of other descent (11.07%) live in Bačko Gradište .

Attractions

In the center of the village is the Catholic St. Michael's Church and a little further on the edge of the village is the Orthodox Church.
