Baaba is a Polish band specializing in jazz and experimental music.

history

Baaba was founded in 2000 by Bartosz Weber. The band experiments with elements of jazz, electronics , and sometimes soul , rock and metal . Her albums are released by Lado ABC, whose co-founder Macio Moretti was a temporary member of the band.

The album The Wrong Vampire , released in 2012, consists of recordings of Krzysztof Komeda's compositions for Roman Polański's film Tanz der Vampire . In 2011, Baaba worked with the singer Gaba Kulka - they interpreted songs by Iron Maiden together .

Baaba toured many European countries, especially at jazz festivals, and in 2012 she also performed in the USA .
