Macio Moretti

Macio Moretti (* 1975 in Środa Wielkopolska ), bourgeois Maciej Moruś , is a Polish drummer, bassist and singer, co-founder of the Lado ABC music label and graphic designer.

Live and act

Moretti grew up in Warsaw . He was expelled from school before he graduated from high school and only made up for his degree as an adult.

His career began in the Yass scene. In the early 2000s he also played bass in the death metal / grindcore group Antigama . Since 2001 he played in the band Baaba . Shortly thereafter, his second major project, Mitch & Mitch, was founded. Moretti is active in a large number of Polish bands and projects of various genres, including Baaba, Mitch & Mitch, Shofar (with Mikołaj Trzaska and Raphael Rogiński ), Starzy Singers.

Moretti is a graphic designer; he worked for Przekrój magazine and designs album covers for his own bands as well as for other musicians. He has received several Fryderyk awards for his covers : 2005 for Hey's Echosystem , 2010 for Love! Attention! Help! Rescue! same band and 2012 for 8 by Kasia Nosowska . In 2004 he founded the Lado ABC music label with friends. In 2010 he was awarded the Paszport Polityki .
