Fisz
Fisz [ ˈfiʃ ] (born March 19, 1978 ; bourgeois Bartosz Waglewski ) is a Polish rapper , painter and musician .
Life
He is the son of the Polish musician Wojciech Waglewski and brother of the producer and DJ Emade, with whom he makes music. He began his musical career as a classical rapper in the group RHX and turned to more and more jazz influences ( Na wylot , F3 , albums with the Bassisters Orchestra) and experimental sounds ( Wielki ciężki słoń , Fru! ). On later albums he paid homage to his youthful idols - Heavi Metal is rich in allusions to metal music, Zwierzę bez nogi is strongly reminiscent of the music of the early Beastie Boys (the video for the theme song is also stylized accordingly). As part of the projects Kim Nowak (with Emade) and Waglewski Fisz Emade, he recorded four rock albums on which he played and sings electric bass .
Fisz's texts are known for their wealth of wordplay.
Fisz studied at the European Art Academy in Warsaw. His painting is influenced by the works of Joan Miró and Jean-Michel Basquiat .
