Marcin Masecki
Marcin Masecki (born September 6, 1982 in Warsaw ) is a Polish pianist and composer of modern creative and new improvisational music .
Masecki, whose father worked as a clarinetist , received his first musical lessons from him at the age of three. At the age of seven, she started classical piano training. At the age of twelve he began to perform in clubs; at the age of 15 he led his own trio. He belonged to Zbigniew Wegehaupt's band . He is currently leading the Profesjonalizm jazz sextet , the Polonezy group and the Warsaw Orchestra of Recreation . With Ziv Ravitz and Garth Stevenson he forms the trio TAQ. As a composer he also wrote for symphonic orchestras and chamber ensembles. In 2005 Masecki won the International Jazz Piano Competition in Moscow .
