Friedrich Borchard

Friedrich Borchard (* 1804 in Moers , † 1857 in Cologne ) was a German lawyer and parliamentarian.

Life

Friedrich Borchard studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . In 1824 he became a member of the Corps Guestphalia Heidelberg . After graduating, he settled in Cologne as a lawyer . In 1848 he was elected to the Prussian National Assembly. Then he sat in the first legislative period in 1849 in the Second Chamber of the Prussian Landtag, the later Prussian House of Representatives . As a member of the Trier constituency, he belonged to the parliamentary group of the extreme left.
