The brand was founded in 1988 by the couple Akinori and Fumiyo Isobe. The first store established is in Tokyo's Shibuya district , Japan . The company is based in the Higashi district in Shibuya District, Tokyo Prefecture .

Baby, The Stars Shine Bright mainly offer Lolita fashion in the Sweet Lolita subcategory.
