Badminton Junior World Championship 2015
The 2015 Badminton Junior World Championship took place from November 4th to 15th, 2015 in Lima, Peru. First the team world champion was determined during the World Cup, then the individual world champions.
Award of the event
The event was awarded at the BWF Annual General Meeting on May 28, 2014 in New Delhi. Lima was the only bidder for the host. The BWF found it problematic that the planned venue Villa Deportiva Nacional was undergoing a reconstruction at the time of the award. Ultimately, the Centro de Alto Rendimiento was chosen as the venue.
