The Baekdu Hill is a 296 m high hill on King George Iceland in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . On the Barton Peninsula, it rises immediately northeast of the Araon Valley .

South Korean scientists named it after the Baekdusan , the highest point in the Changbai Mountains .
