Baessler archive

The Baessler archive. Contributions to ethnology , named after the German traveler and researcher Arthur Baessler (1857–1907), is an ethnological specialist journal of the Berlin Ethnological Museum , which was founded in 1910/1911 with funds from the Baessler Foundation established in 1903. It follows on from the publications from the Royal Museum of Ethnology that have been published since 1889 . To this day, after an interruption in the Second World War (up to volume 25, 1943), it has been published in a new episode since 1952. The publishers Teubner, Steiner and Reimer are the publishers of their appearance. Important ethnographic documentation appeared in their supplements .
