Harlesden Railway Station

Harlesden is a train station in the London Borough of Brent . It is located in the Travelcard tariff zone 3 on Acton Lane. The station is served on the one hand by London Overground local trains between London Euston and Watford Junction , on the other hand underground trains of the Bakerloo Line also stop here . In 2014, 2.77 million underground passengers used the station, plus 1.020 million rail passengers.

The station was opened on June 15, 1912 by the London and North Western Railway (LNWR), when they laid new tracks for electrical suburban traffic along the West Coast Main Line, which had been in existence since 1837 (the so-called Watford DC Line ). The Bakerloo Line trains stopped here for the first time on April 16, 1917.
