Kensal Green Railway Station

Kensal Green is a train station in the London Borough of Brent . It is located in the Travelcard tariff zone 2, between Harrow Road and Mortimer Road. The station is served on the one hand by London Overground local trains between London Euston and Watford Junction , on the other hand by the Bakerloo Line of London Underground . In 2014, 2.28 million subway passengers used the station, plus 0.891 million rail passengers.

The station was opened on October 1, 1916 by the London and North Western Railway (LNWR), four years after it had started electrical suburban traffic on parallel tracks (the so-called Watford DC Line ). Trains of the Bakerloo Line have been running here since May 10, 1915 on their way to Willesden Junction .
