The Creusot TGV train station , officially called Le Creusot - Montceau - Montchanin TGV , is a long-distance train station on the LGV Sud-Est south of the French town of Le Creusot , in the Saône-et-Loire department .
It is located about eight kilometers south of the center of Le Creusot in the locality of Écuisses . The station went into operation on September 22, 1981 with the high-speed line. The station has two through tracks and can be driven through at 300 km / h.
The nearest train station to the north is Paris Gare de Lyon , and to the south is Mâcon-Loché TGV .
