The Oderberg-Bralitz station was the station of the town of Oderberg and the town of Bralitz , but is located in the Neuenhagen area . It is located halfway between Oderberg and Bralitz, which are about four kilometers apart. The reception building and other facilities are under monument protection .
history
The station was opened on January 1, 1877. The building owner was the Berlin-Stettiner Eisenbahn-Gesellschaft . Towards the end of the Second World War , it became traffic-free in April 1945 because the Oder bridge had been blown up. In 1945 the line was demolished as a reparation payment. In 1949 the line was rebuilt and the train station reopened. On May 27, 1995 the tourist traffic was stopped. The final shutdown followed on November 30, 1997.
Investments
The station building was built in 1876/77. It is a massive brick building with a gable roof and two storeys. The former signal box is located on the track side. Today it is used as a residential building.
There is a residential building to the northwest of it. The two-story brick building has two floors.
To the north and south of the house and the reception building there is a stable, a shed, a coach house and a toilet block. Those buildings are also made of bricks and were built around 1877.
There was also a siding to a sawmill.
