Paleofarsalos ( Greek Παλαιοφάρσαλος ( m. Sg. )) Is a train station located about twelve kilometers west of the city of Farsala on the Greek railway line Thessaloniki - Athens in Thessaly ( Greece ).

Here the Piraeus – Thessaloniki railway crossed the narrow-gauge Volos – Kalambaka line of the Thessalian railways . The branch from Paleofarsalos to Kalambaka was switched to standard gauge in the 1990s . On the remaining narrow gauge railway between Paleofarsalos and Volos was scheduled operation set. Some special trips for railroad fans took place afterwards.
