The Volmarstein train station is located at Hagener Straße 171 in Volmarstein , Wetter (Ruhr) . It is located on the Ruhr Valley Railway , whose middle section from Volmarstein to Herdecke was built in 1874, and is no longer used for passenger traffic today.
The station is listed in the monument list of the city of Wetter (Ruhr) at position 103. The station building from 1908 is a half-timbered building on a sandstone base with a slate roof. It is used commercially. The reception building was designed as a two-story building with a basement and an attic.
