Bahnhofplatz (Chur)
The Bahnhofplatz in the Graubünden canton capital Chur connects to the Chur train station in the southeast . The Bahnhofstrasse represents the link to the old town.

In addition to slow traffic , the square is reserved for the lines of the Chur city bus and the track of the Arosa railway . Together with the nearby Alexanderplatz , Bahnhofplatz is part of the City encounter zone .
history
The first design of the Bahnhofplatz took place in 1858. The square got its present appearance after a complete redesign, which was completed in summer 2008 with an inauguration ceremony. The building fabric of the reception building from 1878 - redesigned inside - was retained.
The last final work of the civil engineering and surveying office of the city of Chur was carried out by autumn 2011.
