Lidköping – Kvänum railway line

The Lidköping – Kvänum (Swedish. Lidköping – Kvänums järnväg ) railway was a projected narrow-gauge railway in Skaraborgs län in Sweden. The route should be carried out in the track width of 891 mm.

According to Lidköping's plans, the line should lead south via Hofby, Norra Härene, Salsby, Jung and Kvänum to Kvänum station on the Gothenburg – Skara railway line and have a length of 25.9 kilometers. The construction costs were calculated at 800,000 kroner , of which 80,000 kroner should go to the vehicles .

The concession was granted on April 12, 1907, construction did not begin.

The concession holders were then granted a further period after which construction should begin in 1912. The line should go into operation in 1915.

After the construction work was not carried out in the following years, the concession expired.
