Liverpool – Manchester railway line
The following lines are referred to as the Liverpool – Manchester railway line :
- Liverpool – Earlestown – Manchester line , the line opened by the Liverpool and Manchester Railway in 1830
- Liverpool – Warrington – Manchester railway line , which opened in 1873 and is a more important link today
