Bait (fishing)

Bait is the English name for the German word bait . The foreign word is mainly used in modern carp fishing (also called carphunting ) and describes all types of bait that are used there. There are both hookbait (hookbait) and the loose feed , z. B. Groundbait (forage), particles, pellets, etc. for feeding the carp. Carpbait in general is the so-called boilie , a hard-boiled ball of dough that is particularly effective when fishing for carp.
