Baixio (Bahia)

The place Baixio is about 160 km north of Salvador da Bahia in the state of Bahia in Brazil . The place can be reached on the Linha Verde and is in the Entre Rios district, which means something like between the rivers. These rivers are Joanes, Inhambupe and Itapicuru. There is a small tourist infrastructure in Baixio with a few pensions and restaurants. The attraction of the place are the beautiful sandy beaches.
In the south is the fishing village of Subaúma with its coral reefs and in the north is the fishing village of Itariri .
