Bajkuschewa Mura ( Bulgarian Байкушева мура ) is the name of a tree that is more than 1300 years old and is found in Bulgaria in the Pirin Mountains .

It is an armored or snakeskin pine ( Pinus heldreichii ) named after the forest ranger Konstadin Bajkuschew ( Bulgarian Костадин Байкушев ), who discovered this specimen in 1897. Mura refers to two types of pine in Bulgarian: Bjala Mura ( Bulgarian Бяла мура ; literally: "white mura") for the Rumelian pine ( Pinus peuce ) and Tscherna Mura ( Bulgarian Черна мура ; literally: "black mura") for the snake skin Pine ( Pinus heldreichii ). The snake skin pine is widespread in southwestern Bulgaria.

The Baikushev's pine stands on 1930  m altitude, in the northern Pirin Mountains, in the Pirin National Park , 500 m southwest of the mountain hut Banderitsa ( Bulgarian хижа Бъндерица ), on the road from Bansko to the mountain hut Vihren ( Bulgarian хижа Вихрен ), from where the ascent to Vihren - Summit begins.

The age of this specimen is estimated to be over 1300 years, making it the oldest conifer in Bulgaria.
