Baker Boyer Bank is the oldest bank in the US state of Washington . The bank was the first money house to open a branch in Walla Walla County .

Founders of the bank were in 1869 Dorsey Syng Baker (1823-1888) and John F. Boyer (1824-1897).

Mark Kajita has been CEO of the bank since January 2014.

Bank building in Walla Walla

The bank building in Walla Walla was built from 1909 to 1911 by the twin brothers Louis Beezer (1869–1929) and Michael J. Beezer (1869–1933), who jointly ran the Beezer Brothers architectural office in Seattle from 1907 to 1923 . It is a seven-story office building with a colonnade with Ionic columns on the front that extends over the two lower floors . This building was the first high-rise in Walla Walla.
