The Balagne ( Corsican Balagna ) is a region in the former Haute-Corse department in the northwest of the French island of Corsica .

The region is located between the Nebbio and the Filosorma at the foot of Monte Cinto . To the east is the Désert des Agriates . The main cities are Calvi and L'Île-Rousse . The community association Communauté de communes de Calvi Balagne comprises the municipalities of the region.

The Balagne is one of the wine-growing regions of Corsica.

The Chemins de fer de la Corse trains run along the coast of the region .

Restituta of Africa is the patron saint of the region.
