Balasi
Balasi was a Neo-Assyrian scribe, healer and personal teacher of the Crown Prince Aššur-bāni-apli . After he ascended the Assyrian throne, Balasi always remained a personal friend and favorite of the king. So far 35 letters from Balasi have been found which were found during excavations in Nineveh and which deal with questions about ašiputu (so-called magic) and asûtu (so-called medicine).
