Balaton (car)
The Balaton was the concept for a small Hungarian car .
description
The technician Jószef Zappel presented a small car in 1955 or 1956 . The vehicle had four wheels. The notchback- shaped pontoon body offered space for two adults and two children. Another source confirms that the vehicle had 2 + 2 seats. Instead of doors, the upper part of the body (i.e. the windows and roof) could be moved backwards.
An air-cooled two-stroke engine from Csepel with a displacement of 250 cm³ provided the drive . There was no series production.
