Baldur Kirchner
Baldur Kirchner (born November 17, 1939 in Komotau ) is a freelance seminar leader for rhetoric, dialectics and ethics as well as honorary professor for business ethics at the Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences. He is a lecturer and author.
Life
After studying Catholic theology, philosophy and linguistics at the universities of East Berlin and Tübingen, Baldur Kirchner received his doctorate in 1968 on the prose work of Ivan Bunin. From 1968 to 1970 he was director of AKAD in Stuttgart. In 1972 he started his own business as a seminar leader; in the 1970s and 1980s he worked with Rupert Lay and Winfried Prost ("Frankfurter Institut"), among others . In the 1970s he completed further training in psychoanalysis with Balthasar Staehelin in Zurich.
In 1983 he and his wife opened the Ettenbeuren seminar house, a training center in the Günzburg district. There, under the name of "Kirchner Seminars", he continuously holds open seminars on the subjects of rhetoric, dialectics and ethics. His sons Alexander and Sebastian have also been working there since 1999.
Baldur Kirchner accompanied around 35,000 people in his seminars and lectures, mainly business executives. In “Privatissima” he has been offering coaching and sparring for top managers and family businesses since the 1970s. He also accompanies change processes in companies and associations. He is also an honorary professor at the Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU-Management-Forum) and is involved in the Salzburg-Tübingen rhetoric talks "satur".
He is the author of numerous books, some of which have been translated into Dutch, Indonesian and Lithuanian, and he has given several hundred lectures.
Baldur Kirchner is married and has three sons.
