Ballet boots

Ballet boots (also: ballet heels, ballet boots, ballet shoes) are among the fetish shoes. From a heel of approx. 14 cm, shoes are called this. These are shoes and boots in which the height of the heel roughly corresponds to the length of the foot. Ballet boots in shoe size 42 therefore have a heel height of about 22 centimeters. This requires a maximum extension of the foot in these shoes. In contrast to high heels, the foot no longer rests with the ball of the foot or toe on the floor, but only on the tip of the toe. This corresponds to the posture of the feet in the toe dance in ballet and gave the ballet shoes / boots their name. They are not to be confused with the ballet slippers and pointe shoes . Depending on the shape of the shaft, the weight of the wearer not only rests on the tips of the toes, but is distributed over the foot.

Use, distribution and forms

This footwear is important in the fetish , high heels and bondage scene. Standing or walking for a long time is not possible with such shoes and is hazardous to health. Because of the extreme foot position forced by the shoe, inexperienced people can hardly stand in it with straight legs and feel pain in the foot and calf. Ballet boots are not offered in conventional shoe stores, but in fetish and sex shops as well as corresponding internet offers.

The main distinguishing features of different models are the length of the shaft (which can reach up to the crotch) and the shape of the toe of the shoe. Particularly tapered shoe tips deliberately press the toes together, whereas so-called pony boots end in a shape modeled on a horse's hoof (sometimes with a horseshoe).
