The dolmen of Ballyfroota ( Irish Baile an Phrútaigh ) is located on a small road on the edge of the northeast slope of the Slievereagh, west of the "Morningstar River", ( Irish An Chamhaoir ), northwest of Ballylanders ( Irish Baile an Londraigh ), in the southeast of County Limerick in Ireland .

The north-south oriented dolmen, which cannot be precisely identified typologically due to renovations, but mostly described as a wedge tomb , was used as a mass rock in the 19th century . It consists of the side stone on the west side, which supports a large, flat capstone, which is supported on the east side (center) by dry stone masonry, possibly composed of stones from the original structure. The second, also flat capstone in the east is a later addition and may have been the original side stone. It is also supported in the middle by the dry masonry block. On the east side, this capstone is laterally supported by a modern stone.
