The Wedge Tomb of Ballynastaig ( Irish Baile na Stéige ), southeast of Clarinbridge or east of Kilcolgan in County Galway in Ireland is only about 15 km east of the Burren in County Clare and is an almost complete wedge tomb with a massive capstone and enormously large Side stones. Wedge Tombs ( German  "Keilgräber" , formerly also called wedge-shaped gallery graves ) is a double-walled, aisle-free, mostly undivided megalithic complex from the late Neolithic and Early Bronze Age and, alongside Court Tombs , Portal Tombs and Passage Tombs, typical of the western half of Ireland.

Some stones of the cairn at the front have been lost. Tons of stone material lie on and next to the facility. Inside you can see the capstone is starting to break and there is some loose debris. At around 5.0 m, the chamber is particularly long, 1.5 m wide and has a height of less than 1.0 m, which is characteristic for systems of this type.

The monument is covered in blackberries and thorn bushes.
