Balsupiai is a village with 370 inhabitants (2011) in the Lithuanian municipality of Marijampolė . It is 9 km west of the city of Marijampolė .
It is the center of the subdistrict. There is a section of the Mokolai School . Two tributaries of the Šešupė flow through the village : the Rausvė (left) and the Balsė (right), which gave the village its name. Balsupiai was first mentioned in 1632. From 1910 there was a primary school here.
