The balustrade sprint is a show discipline in six-day races .

The balustrade sprint is played over 15 laps; all cyclists taking part in the six-day race ride in a long row with lively music in a wave-like manner up to the balustrade of the cycle track . They do antics on the track and animate the audience to La Ola . A few laps before the finish, the row dissolves and the drivers sprint to the finish. For this discipline, too, points are awarded in the context of the evaluation of the six-day race, despite the fun nature.
