Plastic banana holder

A banana holder or banana stand (rarely also a banana ripener ) is a device for storing bananas in the household. Since bananas are very sensitive to pressure points, they should be stored carefully after purchase.

There are different types of banana holders. Small gallows-like frames made of wood, metal or plastic, on which the banana trees are hung and thus stored without touching the fruit, are common. But there are also constructions similar to a hammock in the trade, in which the bananas are placed in large-meshed nets.
