The Banca Sistema is an Italian credit institution with headquarters in Milan . The bank specializes in public debt-related banking services and retail deposit banking. All bank deposits of Banca Sistema are secured by the Italian deposit protection fund, the Fondo Interbancario di Tutela dei Depositi (FITD) up to a sum of 100,000 euros per investor.
Foundation and development
Banca Sistema was founded in Milan in 2011 as an independent credit institution with a full banking license. Over 50% of the bank's shares are held by three Italian banking foundations from the savings bank sector, the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Alessandria, the Fondazione Pisa and the Fondazione Sicilia. Another 47% of the shares are owned by a UK equity fund, the Royal Bank of Scotland Special Opportunities Fund. In addition to the head office in Milan, the bank has branches in Rome, Pisa, Padua and London. The bank currently has over 13,000 customers and a deposit volume of more than 1.3 billion euros. Thanks to rapid corporate growth, the bank is profitable three years after it was founded, and in 2014 its deposit business grew by more than EUR 800 million.
Services
Banca Sistema has focused on the purchase of due trade receivables from public administrations. You will support companies in dealing with public debtors.
