Banco de Valencia was a Spanish company with headquarters in Valencia .

The bank was founded on March 20, 1900. The bank came under pressure in the course of the financial crisis . In particular, "bad" real estate loans issued caused problems for the Banco de Valencia . In November 2011, the Banco de Valencia was nationalized by the Spanish government. After state restructuring, the bank was sold to the Spanish credit institution Caixabank after a year .

The Banco de Valencia building was the headquarters of the bank until it was sold in 2012.
