Bandits is a computer game in the genre of the shoot 'em ups , which by Tony Ngo , Benny Ngo & Len Bertoni developed by the company Software Sirius was first published in the year 1982nd It was released for the home computers Apple II , C64 , the Atari home computers and VC20 . It is in Bandits to a similar game like the classic Space Invaders or Galaga .

Gameplay

In the game, however, not only the spaceships are attacked, but the invaders also try to conquer fruits. The game is over when either all of the player's spaceships have been destroyed or all fruit has been stolen. There are several types of invaders that attack together in the higher levels. In order to survive against the increasing number of enemies, a protective screen can be switched on.

The graphics and the sound correspond to the arcade standard of the time. No music was used at all. It is controlled with the joystick, whereby the movement forwards switches on the protective screen. From 10,000 points there is an extra life.
