Bangladesh Badminton Federation
The Bangladesh Badminton Federation is the top national administrative organization in the sport of badminton in Bangladesh . The association was founded in 1972 .

Shahidur Rahman Kochi became the first general secretary of the association in 1972 and Md. Yousuf Ali became the first president . Soon after it was founded, the Bangladesh Badminton Federation also became a member of the Badminton World Federation , then known as the International Badminton Federation . The federation also became a member of the Badminton Asia Confederation .
