The Bank and Finance Center ( Polish: Centrum Bankowo-Finansowe ) is an office building in Warsaw, until 1989 the seat of the Central Committee of the Polish United Workers' Party ( PVAP ).

The center is located on a plot of land on Rondo Charles'a de Gaulle'a and is surrounded by Książęca, Nowy Świat and Aleje Jerozolimskie streets. On its east side it borders the National Museum .

The project was selected in a 1947 competition. Ten teams of architects took part in the competition, and the project of the “Tiger Team” Wacław Kłyszewski, Jerzy Mokrzyński and Eugeniusz Wierzbicki was chosen to be built.

Since the competition took place before the declaration of Socialist Realism as the only valid doctrine, a modern, but not overly monumental, project was chosen. The only later concession in favor of social realism was the carefully designed details of the facade and interior.

The construction of the originally planned new road between the building and the National Museum was abandoned. The old tenement houses on Książęca Street were not demolished, and the windowless firewalls formed an obstacle to the view into the cabinet of the 1st Party Secretary on the 1st floor of the south block. The building was inaugurated on May 1, 1952.

After 1989 the building was taken over by the state and designated as the seat of the university library. Since the typical office building was not suitable for this, it became the headquarters of the newly established stock exchange, and the construction of the new university library in the Powiśle district was financed from the profit from the rental . The building has been a listed building since November 2009. In the period 1989–2009, many details of the interior were removed as "old-fashioned".
