Bank of China (Zambia) , also BoCZ , is a limited company in Zambia . It is a subsidiary of the Bank of China . It is based in Lusaka , Amandra House, Ben Bella Road. It has a branch in Kabwe .

BoCZ is the first BoC office in sub-Saharan Africa. It succeeded the China National Nonferrous Metals Industry Construction Co. , which bought the Chambishi Copper Mine in 2000 for US $ 20 million. Since then, it has been the financial center of Chinese investment and capital flows in Zambia. The BoCZ is thus a special bank with a very specific business field, which is only supplemented by that of Chinese development aid to Zambia. However, this business area not only includes the financial needs of the Chinese investments in Chambishi and Maamba , but also the corresponding foreign trade, which contains significantly more explosives for Zambia than that financed by the Indo-Zambia Bank . The BoCZ will go the same way with a much sharper pace than this and be the financial center of a highly dynamic market penetration.
