The Baoguo Temple ( Chinese  保 国寺 , Pinyin Bǎoguó Sì  - "Temple for the Protection of the State") is a Buddhist temple in the Jiangbei district of Ningbo in the Chinese province of Zhejiang . Its main hall from the year 1013 of the Song Dynasty is the oldest wooden structure in southern China.

The temple has been on the List of Monuments of the People's Republic of China (1-90) since 1961

The temple was originally called "Lingshan Temple" but was renamed in 880 during the Tang Dynasty .
