Baranki ( Russian баранки ) are a Russian snack. Sushki is a smaller version, often oval-shaped.

The hard-baked donuts, about 4 to 12 cm in diameter, are sometimes coated with poppy seeds or sesame seeds . Baranki taste slightly sweet, there are also variants with vanilla or nut flour. In addition to gingerbread (also known as prjaniki in Russia), baranki are the traditional pastries for tea . Suschki are 3 to 5 cm in diameter with relatively thinner edges.
