Barbara Schinko (* 1980 in Linz ) is an Austrian writer .

Life

After studying international business relations, she worked in controlling and finance. Her literary work includes both romance novels for young readers ( Cherry Pit kisses , Hummingbird Kisses , cowboy kisses , Vermissmeinnicht , The Song of the lighthouse ) and children's books that deal in a poetic and imaginative way with serious life issues as well as fairy tales, ballads and legends materials ( Snowflake summer , a coat so red , the fairy gift , the saga of St. Stephen's Cathedral ). She lives with her family in Linz.
